Raking leaves is fun for about an hour

The truth is, leaves kill your grass. They prevent water, nutrients, and sunlight from helping the grass grow.

Left-over leaves cause disease and you’ll get dead spots all over the lawn in the spring.

Do it in the fall because leaf removal is more expensive in the spring because companies transition into spring lawn care like mulching and weed control. Once they’re not in ‘leaf mode’ anymore they charge more.
