As the season starts to wind down (usually the last mow is around Halloween) it’s a good idea to cut the grass a little shorter to make blowing and collecting leaves easier. Leaves get caught in taller grass so the shorter the grass is, the easier leaf collection is for you.
Don’t cut it too short though, 3.5″ – 4″ is a good healthy range.
